Trip to the Florida Orchestra

The WRHS music department will be going to see the Florida Orchestra in concert on Friday, April 30th. Cost for the trip is $20 per student. That $20 gets you a seat on the bus and a ticket to the concert. Please have the money in by this Friday, April 23rd. All checks should be made out to “WRHS Band Boosters”

The itinerary is as follows:

4:00 - Arrive at WRHS
4:30 - Depart WRHS on buses
5:00 - Arrive at International Plaza for dinner (bring money)
7:00 - Depart International
7:15 - Arrive at the Straz Center (Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center)
8:00 - Concert
10:30 - Arrive back at WRHS

All of these times are subject to modification. Please continue to check this site. More information will be given during classes.

Parents, chaperones will be needed for this trip. If you are an approved volunteer please consider coming along. Chaperones’ tickets and bus transportation will be free.

Guard Performs at JLMS

The WRHS winter guard will be performing at Dr. John Long Middle School this Friday, April 23rd at 2:15pm. We are hoping to share the wonderful talents of this championship level group and bring more students into the organization. For more information about joining the WRHS guard please contact me ASAP.
