Preview day five 5/13

On day 5 of our music theory preview, we discussed chapter 7 of the Peter Spencer book (The Practice of Harmony) which introduces the concept of four-part vocal writing. Please remember that there are 4 parts to the choir.... Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass.

Since we’re currently dealing with triads, you know that there are 3 notes per chord (triad)... since there are 4 voices in the choir, one of those three notes will have to be doubled.
